The fire enamelling on copper is a technique that has a strong link with metal and with the territory, in particular with the figure of Paolo De Poli and his works, which firstly introduce enamel into the sphere of modern furnishing. The Cahier madia is a tribute to an important artisan tradition and a response to the need of reviving lost techniques. The complexity of enamelling is combined with that of metalworking, finding the perfect balance in the apposition of enamelled inserts and oxidized metal finishes.
