The frame of the Ferdinandea bed with storage unit is made of poplar plywood with light polyurethane foam padding upholstered in Pelle Frau leather and delicate matching tone-on-tone stitching. The cylindrical feet are in black painted metal. The storage unit rests on a top made of medium-density wood fiberboard covered in ecru-colored melamine, which creates a textural visual effect similar to linen. The lifting mechanism to access the storage unit requires a single opening movement through two leather handles, positioned on the side of the footboard, which lifts the top to the classic tilted position with a gas spring mechanism. The lifting system supports a 170x200cm, up to 45 kg mattress.
